Positioned in a quiet suburb of the mining town, Carletonville in Gauteng, South Africa. Centrally situated within a few minutes drive of the world's deepest and richest gold mines, our guest house is the perfect spot for either work or pleasure. We are approximately an hour away from Johannesburg, 30 minutes from Potchefstroom and a few minutes off the N12 highway.
We have five luxurious rooms to offer our guests: double rooms. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, a Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon and a DStv bouquet, a safe, iron and ironing board, beverage making facilities, a fridge/freezer, microwave, air-conditioning and underfloor heating and free Wi-Fi internet access.
To keep our guests feeling at home, we have ensured that we have entertainment for you to come home to, this includes: a under-roof swimming pool (heated in winter), a pub area with a big-screen TV for sport, as well as a dining area at the pool. Roman’s Rest Guest House offers an in-house a la carte restaurant and a laundry service.
The guest house is protected by a 9-foot high wall with spikes, electric fencing and 24-hour security camera surveillance. The rooms all have safety gates and panic buttons. Secure parking is provided.
